A Honda battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief objective is to start the Honda engine.
The alternator supplies power for the Honda once the engine is running.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to release a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, as well as a complete discharge can reduce the lifespan of the battery.
